Originally released in NZ by kog transmissions less than a year ago, mark's eclectic-beats jazz concept album SIX DEGREES is about to go global with release on universal UK, 22.05.2000.
Melodius Beats Volume 1 is a compilation of Mark's own output since he relocated from New Zealand to the musical hotbed of West London early in 2000, and highlights his skills as a player, producer and remixer. Featuring Cherie Mathieson, DJ Spinna, Restless Soul, Seiji (Bugz in the Attic), Shirley Horn, Kaidi Tatham and many more collaborators. Highlights include Mark's recent productions 'The Way That It Goes' and 'Relax...Unwind' (Gilles Peterson All Winners Top 50 for last year). - 'Relax...' has been picked up by Kenny Dope and Louie Vega of Masters At Work for 12" release on their label MAW Records.
