Who cares what Techno is. .. why do I like it?
For all the dissecting forms of dance music, Techno embeds the most discussion, the most analysis of the proposition, the most inspection on the dancefloor.
Weather it is about: the music, the structure, the method of making, the path to construction, the inspiration, and the environment for creation. Or the result: the ensuing madness on the dance floor, the politics of publishing, and the solidarity of witness.
The whole the thing, the whole genre, the sound, the good damn beat .. it expands my life through its resistant output.
Are you disgusted by minimalism, does the looped monotony insane your brain. Are you livid at the chin stroking, self-illusion of importance?
It is significant when dance music becomes part of your identity and less about your weekend that the music delivers interesting things into your life.
