Yea, Ian Pooley's new album turned up in my box.
To be honest I wasn't that surprised when I loved the whole thing,
because I just knew it would be good.
I recall seeing Ian Pooley being interviewed by some chump
NZ music presenter in the 90's. The presenter was asking Ian about
'sausages' and Ian replied 'I'm here for house music not sausages'.
Back in the mid 90's, in the hey-day of international house Dj's. Ian Pooley
was one of few fly'in boys who seemed to be alert and intent on making
sure the music was the focus.
His latest album reassures me that Ian is still on the mark. Still as serious
as ever about honest to goodness house music.
