Find it highly amusing to be addressed across the bar:
'Hey, New Zealand!'

Walking down the street, late hour, clean cut punks in
suits call out 'I'm fine sank you!!'

One disturbingly lunged at me for a kiss and all i did
was to push him away and say 'No no get out'..

I need sharper reflexes - was pissed off afterwards
that i missed out on a chance to use my boxing skills
on an actual person..

As always a Carlito's Way line popped into mind.. "The
street, she's watching.. gotta move.."

Japan is not safe as houses.. it's a strange and
unusual world after dark.

I told this doll-like canadian girl Theresa who i
crashed with for a couple of nights, and she was like,

'Yeah, you kindof freeze. Once this old guy was coming
for my breasts and came for me about 3 times and all i
could do was go "Hey!" and point.. like, "Hey.You." '

Went to the Osaka Blue Note night b4 last, styling.

Table right by the stage. It was Jody Watley with an
amazing funkjazz fusion band (from LA) Power jacking
bass and hammond type soloes, and she was a real diva
with a big afro and golden voice.

My workmate Kai and i were guests of an architect
called Crazy Kato..

Had the best feed since arriving: consumme (that's
soup) of kingfish with these expensive japanese
mushrooms in pots with pastry covers; Norwegian salmon
that was just like we're used to in NZ (Japanese
salmon is yuk); evergreen cocktails (tequila and
pineapple and mint)

i danced with Jody funking out, was gifted a signed cd
and photos with the band.. :) Another line from
Carlito's Way: 'Miss, that was really great, i mean
REALLY great'

Forgive my linguistic bent:

it's interesting, there's words in Japanese same as in
Maori. 'Ano' means 'well/furthermore' in both
languages.. 'Ika' means fish in Maori and Squid in
Japanese.. of course their vowel sounds are the
same..

I read that back in the day (way back) people from the
Pacific Islands migrated up to the Japanese islands
which would also explain why they're a bit browner
than Chinese..

Saw a new playstation game called Exciting Bass.
But it's to do with fishing..
