mondays back ..

of the over.night goodbye 'nz' a complete
success . and a total pleasure !!

after appearing on the `housing project on RDU .with
the legend Chris Cox and 'jack saunders himself . it
was an over.night drive to Dunedin ..

only having the .small problem of running the battery
flat when we stopped for a snozze' with radio playing

.. push starting

onward to dunedin . crawling into a freinds house and
falling over everything . till we were asleep ..

breakfast . was of course pancakes! as all good house
kids should eat on important days of the week . ...

a casual start to the day . I checked in with 'elliot
at ARC cafe . secured all the toys for the evening .
extra sound* a few extra lights and a video projector

then .off to modaks for afternoon mix sessions . with
the aid of 'kickass coffee' and a serious good burger
I played tunes for 4hours and we stick'd up some more
mixtape . plus collected video footage for the night!

mixed up . taped and stickered . full and coffed over
a was off to Radio 1 for a 'interview' .talking house

. . gradualy everything came togeather at ARC . ..

I put up a bunch of fijian mat's around the room . to
create a bit of that island feel through some natural`
texture .. best of all we projected video onto it ..

such a party was the party . crowded enough to make a
space to dance and a space to talk . visuals from the
tour so far 'mixing and mixes ' + + the day in modaks

friends playing sounds in two rooms . with styles and
ways unique . from ambiant house to deep tech stuff !

. familar faces new faces . all being smiling faces .

4 me . a night `special in its normalness and comfort
creating moments to remember and moments to finish on
dreams 'slipping under 'mirror ball twinkle and dance
step `steps `stepping played back in a fade in . mix'

...

sleeping slept and waking for 'slack sunday .an event
requiring you to be late . over relaxed and indulgent
in these facts .all such being the perfect thing post
party and sunny sundays . .

drinking beer . and disolved into soft chairs . about
ARC cafe with friends and larking locals . playing `a
tune or two in slack'as entertainment . .

.. there it all ended but nothing left but a drive to
home and familair bed . my mums kitchen and all these
things that makes 'home' attractive .
