Just bought an MPC 2kXL. Did some research and thought i'd bought a classic. However am havin 'issues' in terms of connectability to my laptop. It has internal zip drive. Don't wanna go down the scuzzi route.. as they're almost as jurassic as me (43 yy).
I have a drummer i jam with so although i like the idea of the drum function (although it didn't come with the CD as it's 2nd hand i gather i can get these via the net) - 90% of what i wanna do is to sample and cut up trax from my laptops music library.
Any advice ?? would b much appreciated.
