 Still relatively new in terms of time working within the scene, Grind come correct with events representing the cutting edge of local electronic production and experimentation. Having implemented 5 parties thus far Grind are committed to the underground sound of the capital city. All the events have showcased nothing but the finest in local DJ's and Live Artists. Refusing to be committed to one particular style, the partygoer can always expect a contrasting and eclectic blend of styles, be it Dub, Hip Hop, Drum 'n' Bass, House or just plain Techno. However it can generally be said that the parties tend to focus on the harder styles. Originally based at Lab 13 Garrett St, Grind made there name with 3 intimate evenings of pumping dancefloor action. All of which achieved Grinds objectives ..... good vibes and good music whilst keeping it real on the underground tip. The end of the month will see Grind release their 3rd CD, Number8wire, a compilation of NZ electronic music. The release will be accompanied by a large scale release party which is shaping up to be Grinds greatest achievement to date.
