Bass Frontiers was born out of a group of friends with a and passion for drum and bass.
They came together in March 1999 with the simple focus of providing Wellington with quality drum and bass parties on a regular basis.
Before Bass Frontiers the Wellington DnB scene was very fragmented, irregular events were occurring with varying degrees of success.
The most disconcerting thing was the fact Wellington was missing out on many of the internationals that were coming to Christchurch and Auckland courtesy of Subtronix.
Our mission was clear, to build a world-class foundation from which the scene could grow and give us the ability to host some of the biggest names in UK Drum and Bass.
3 years on now, and Bass Frontiers has grown into a globally recognised club night with a list of guest DJ's and MC's that has featured the absolute cream of the UK and New Zealand drum and bass scene.
