Monkey Records was formed in the year 2000 by musician/producer Nigel Braddock to nurture and support innovative New Zealand artists. Since then we have built up a catalogue of genre-defying albums of high quality original music from Aotearoa. Monkey Records began life as an ambient/downbeat label but has since broadened its horizons to encompass a wider range of electronica plus world and acoustic recordings.
