"Going Beautiful"

Tinypeople was started as a production alias for Andy Williams in 2002 and was soon joined by fellow house DJ Rupert Mackintosh. Tinypeople have crept modestly into New Zealand's house production line-up since August 2002 when their first single "Days Like These" was play listed on b-net radio station RDU. Since then "Going Beautiful", "No More Trouble" and "Faster Than You" have been play listed and further work has been done for television and radio. "Faster Than You" entered the RDU top 11 charts for five weeks and sat at number one for two weeks. Tinypeople have also remixed Melbourne house outfit Lord Street Heroes. Their tracks have been used on the Red Bull Music Academy and 2004 X-air documentaries.

Not so serious guys, come on!

In 2003 a music video for "Faster Than You" was completed on a shoestring budget and can now be seen on C4 Music Television.

Tinypeople have a strong musical foundation that rests upon Rupert's classical training in violin, piano, clarinet, guitar and music theory and a technical basis that draws from Andy's five years of production and DJ experience. Now with a comprehensive studio and production gear these two are creating a unique sound that is been drawing attention nation-wide. Tinypeople are now based out of Wellington and currently working on a live electronic performance.

To date Tinypeople have played sets at all major outdoor music festivals and club events in the South Island of New Zealand.

Tinypeople featured in Pavement magazines 2004 winter top 10 house tracks with "Faster Than You , Club Mix".

Andy and Rupert hosted RDU 98.5 house music breakfast show "Hauswerk" on Saturday mornings for two years, which grew to be on of RDU's most popular shows with a listenership of 10,000 people.
