correct conclusion

Welcome back to myself and all others that missed the occasion.

I'm not even going to bother to ask for photo's this year, because in reality it's just not going to happen. ie' your not going to see my photos of New Years so please what ever you do, don't show me yours. In fact the whole concept of people sharing anything anymore is just gross.

"What about the music?" I can here you mutter. Well just to gross you out let me share a story of a recent experience that got my goat out.

I walked into a club (sound familiar) and there was this guy Dj'ing from his laptop. Cool and all that, until I realized that his entire playlist was mp3's acquisitioned form the world wide vibe via peer to peer networks. Or as the industry will tell you "stolen"!!

Now I am familiar in a first hand way with this form of collecting music. So the feeling of sickness in my stomach as I listened to the download Dj was a little unexpected. My stomachs conclusion though, was that Dj'ing is now officially over.

Remember the one strap backpack? I know you have one somewhere. Well I meet the climber who invented it. He told me how he made one for himself to keep his climbing gear in, and how his friends liked it so he made them one. Next thing he new K-mart was selling them and every kid and their 2nd cousin had one.

While he managed to get over the fact his design had been stolen, he continues to remain upset about the quality & commercial abuse of the one strap backpack. Which effectively makes the designs identity redundant as a useful piece of equipment.

Point being: Why are you not wearing your onestrap backpack?

I don't want to be a Dj anymore. I don't even want to pretend that I was one once. There is nothing special about it, there is no intrinsic appreciation for the skill set involved. You don't even need to research the music.

Yea . anyway don't share your thoughts with me, don't show me your ideas. I'm in an self orgy of commercial greed. Anything you show to me, I will think is mine to use in whatever way that I want.

I have no respect for your identity, I have no understanding of your value, I have no appreciation for the cost. My life is a embodiment of everything I can access for free or buy for cheap. Look' lets just get it over with now. You can have everything that is important to me and I'll just pretend that I'm cool with that. Sweet.
