Meanwhile somewhere in real-time popular media has taken interest in our little project here at Obscure or more specifically over at Psurkit.net.
T-minus 10 years and counting, I think we can expect a visit from the real world.
Yes' despite provisional restraints, people from everyday life can be interested in what we do. I have seen in happen before, more than once. I remember tuning into National Radio to hear an interview about the Gathering. It went really well until the coverage got cut off by the 11 o'clock news.
This week I also joined a new global mailing list for people who research EDMC.
EDMC = Electronic Dance Music Culture (that's us!!!) Receiving and reading the posts feels very much like watching ants and trying to understand what they are thinking.
However it is always pleasant to know that people out there are picking up the vibe. I wish they would stay and dance a while, but mostly they just want to tick some boxes on their list, phone home, and get back on their space ships.
